It has the classic look and the HD look. The game controls are pretty decent and sound is amazing. Overall a great ride. This is a must.

Needs a better save mode in game, and controls are not the easiest to use.

I remember how popular this game was when it originally came out back in 1991. The updated graphics are lovely, but unfortunately, the game itself doesnt translate well to the touchscreen medium. The controls are clunky and unresponsive, which makes many parts of the game incredibly frustrating, as fine precision and quick responses are required to get past the challenges. Often, the game gives you no indication on what course of action you should take in order to proceed. I dont expect games to hold my hand, but theres no fun in trial and error. For example, at one point you have to roll through some air ducts, and theres no way to tell which is the right way and which way leads to a long drop and death. Youve just got to keep trying over and over, watching the same death animation again and again. Thats not fun -- its frustrating.

Never had the patience to play this when it was on snes so its great to get to play this game with better graphics . Awesome and very challenging game

Do not work script in the palace when i destroy energy box. It must create a hole in the floor, but hole not creating. Wtf??? I spend my money! You must fix it hurry!

The controls are terrible and the game makes no sense.

I am still intrigued by the concept of this game, but the default swipe touch screen controls are terrible. Theyre way bad. I finally switched to the control pad, and that was a little easier, but still, I usually felt like there was a disconnect between what I was trying to make my character do and what he was doing. In a game that basically requires you to die over and over to figure out the right thing to do, this became extremely frustrating. I stuck it out, and Im glad I did because I never played it on the PC, but I would not recommend this game. Not at full price, anyway.

Would be a nice port of a classic game, but the controls might be the worst Ive ever used. What a waste.

The developers have not updated the game for over three years. It does not run well on the latest iOS. There is NO SOUND!

32-Bit App Alert, Warns Older Apps May Slow iPhone Getting alerts like crazy. This is not cool. Why did Apple let me buy an app, with no warning, and then flash me a warning while I am running the app, stating that its bad for my brand new iPhone? Why not just remove it if its actually slowing down my system? I understand enough about architecture to see how the statement is true, but this just pisses me off. This just leaves me worrying about the health of my devices, and developers and users alike will be angry. I get what Apple is trying to do, but scare tactics will just drive people away from the platform. If the apps really do noticeably slow down Apple devices, then why the hell are they being sold on the App Store with no warning?

Developer please update this game we all paid money for!! Every time the game starts theres a big old ugly message " this app may slow down your phone " !! Why cant you just update it, nobody wants their phone slowly down because of your app!! Thank you

Why pay for this????!!!! You get to the escape and thats it??? Controls are rough, switched back and forth between the two types.... But dang... Wheres the rest??
